Jose L. Marin is a Lead Compositor, Visual Effects Supervisor, and a Certified Nuke Trainer with 16+ years specializing in compositing for film, television, and commercials. He’s worked on over 46 feature films and 125+ episodes across 40 shows . He’s worked on everything from individual pilots to managing entire seasons at a time as a Lead Compositor, On-set Supervisor, and Tech Scout. In 2019, he received a Visual Effects Society Award nomination for “Outstanding Created Environment” for his work recreating 1970’s New York on HBO’s The Deuce. He’s enjoyed working with studios like Industrial Light & Magic, MPC, and Framestore on projects like Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, The Book of Boba Fett, and Barbie. Jose is a Marine Corps Veteran and now proudly serves as Board Chairman of the Visual Effects Society New York.
